People and Culture Coordinator

The Role
Rain is looking for an enthusiastic and detail oriented People and Culture Coordinator that wants to be part of building a world-class employee experience at Rain. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow as an HR professional in a fast-paced, start-up environment. You will work directly with the VP, People and other key stakeholders across the People Operations team. This position will work a hybrid schedule (typically 3 days per week) from our Nashville, TN office.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Culture and Communications
- Manage employee gifting platforms and swag store.
- Plan and execute culture initiatives such as recognition programs, virtual gatherings and celebrations, and employee events, meetings, and summits.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of company intranet.
- Assist in the drafting and distribution of CEO newsletter, the scheduling of All Hands Events, and other company-wide communications as requested.
- Monitor the HR@Rain email inbox and ensure all messages get responses in a timely fashion.
New Hire Onboarding or and Orientation
- Conduct new hire orientation sessions; explaining culture, processes, and benefits to new employees at Rain.
- Onboard new hires in our HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity.
- Verify new employee I9s using eVerify.
- Assist new hires in navigating systems and getting acclimated to Rain.
Recruiting Coordination
- Support the recruiting team in scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates as needed.
- Support employer brand efforts at the direction of the Lead Recruiter, in coordination with our marketing team.
- Coordinate travel and other logistics for candidates on an as-needed basis.
Facilities Management
- Serve as main point of contact for building management company.
- Order and stock snacks and office supplies.
- Check mail and distribute in a timely fashion.
- Greet office guests and assist in the coordination of employee meetings, booking of conference rooms, etc
- Manage travel and other logistics for employee meetings taking place in Nashville office.
- Set up workspaces for new employees as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in an administrative, employee-facing role such as office manager, executive assistant, or HR Coordinator.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple competing priorities at once.
- High degree of professionalism and integrity for handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees across the organization.

Compensation
$55,000-$65,000
Note this is a range and we take in a variety of factors when determining total compensation for the position.
