WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING INVOLVED IN:

As a Manager of FP&A, you will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions. This role provides senior leadership with critical financial insights and guidance, ensuring the organization's economic health and long-term success. It is pivotal to the business's success as we experience rapid growth. As an early-stage business, you can expect your role to develop over time.

Here are some of the types of things you could be getting involved in:

  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and executive dashboards.

  • Provide insight into our operational cost base - what we're spending on, who we're spending with, why we're spending (to include the likes of software, marketing, legal, employee expenses)

  • Oversight of People costs, providing clarity at a detailed level of people (employee, contractor, consultant) spend, and the drivers of that spend.

  • Assist with financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support decision-making across the organization

  • Driving cost ownership across the business, ensuring all cost lines have clear owners and those owners are accountable for cost management

  • Tracking and ensuring the accuracy of cost allocation and compliance with company policies.

  • Identifying and implementing cost control initiatives to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

THE TOP 5 THINGS WE WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR ARE:

  • Build Strong Cross-Functional Relationships.

  • Help the company improve its forecasting/planning process by introducing more accurate forecasting models.

  • Establish a reliable cost-tracking system that aligns with company-wide financial goals and is scalable as we grow

  • Standardize and Automate Reporting

WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE:

You don't need to tick all the boxes to apply for this role. Whether it's your first or fifth role, we believe everyone can add value, learn, and grow. However, these might be some of the ways you are currently adding value:

  • Strong proficiency with financial software and tools, including Excel, ERP systems, and business intelligence platforms

  • Proven experience in financial modeling and forecasting

  • Highly solution-oriented with a keen ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the business

  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Embedding a structured approach to cost allocation that enables a clear line of sight of costs being incurred at the right level of granularity

  • Experienced in being proactive in delivering cost savings and efficiencies.

  • Strong skills in supporting or leading budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Collaborating with non-finance teams to improve business performance

HOW WE WILL INTERVIEW YOU:

We keep our interview process short and sweet, and we’re a nimble team that can progress quickly. Here are the stages you can expect, but we might switch up the order of each step depending on team availability:

  1. Introductory call/interview with Devin, our Senior Talent Partner. The call is usually via telephone and will last around 30 minutes.

  2. Should there be an initial fit for all, we will invite you to a video call with the hiring manager for around 45 minutes. This more structured interview will dive deeper into the role and technical needs.

  3. All of our roles will have a small assessment stage. This might be in person, a take-home assessment, or further video calls. The length varies, but we’re mindful of your time and try to keep it as simple as possible.

  4. Meet the founders and/or other team members. Again, the length varies depending on the number of people and whether in person or via video call.

  5. Offer!
