We’re looking for a Reductions Specialist at an exciting time. We’ve successfully launched multiple platforms and products, raised over $70m in VC funding, reached profitability, and have a growth trajectory of over 100% YoY.
This role will be trained in the office, 9 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday. After completing training, the role will be hybrid, with three days in the office per week.
WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING INVOLVED IN:
At Scan.com, we're on a mission to simplify and accelerate access to diagnostic imaging for patients and clinicians. As a Reductions Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in achieving this goal by balancing financial objectives with maintaining strong professional relationships. We're seeking an individual who thrives in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment and who's passionate about personal injury case processes.
As an early-stage business, you can expect your role to develop over time. However, some of the types of things you could be getting involved in are:
- Engaging with personal injury attorneys to negotiate payment amounts on behalf of the company
- Partnering closely with internal teams to gather relevant case information
- Maintaining detailed records of negotiations, outcomes, and agreements
- Building strong internal and external relationships
THE TOP 5 THINGS WE WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR ARE
- Optimize the reduction processes to support business growth
- Consistently negotiate settlement amounts that align with the company's financial goals
- Maintain a high level of satisfaction from internal stakeholders and external parties regarding negotiation outcomes and professionalism
- Develop insights for leadership, highlighting negotiated reductions, savings achieved, and opportunities for further improvement
- Stay up to date on relevant laws, industry trends, and negotiation best practices to improve effectiveness
WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE:
You don't need to tick all the boxes to apply for this role. Whether it's your first or fifth role, we believe everyone can add value, learn, and grow. However, these might be some of the ways you are currently adding value:
- Proven experience in confidently negotiating settlements in the legal industry
- Familiarity with personal injury claims, medical billing, and lien reduction practices
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusting professional relationships
HOW WE WILL INTERVIEW YOU:
We keep our interview process concise and efficient, and we’re a nimble team that can move forward quickly. Here are the stages you can expect, but we might switch up the order of each step depending on team availability:
- Introductory call/interview with Devin, our Senior Talent Partner. The call will be made via telephone and is expected to last approximately 30 minutes.
- If we feel there is an initial fit for everyone, we will invite you to a virtual interview with our Head of Legal Ops.
- All of our roles will have a small assessment stage. This may be in-person, a take-home assessment, or additional video calls. The length varies, but we’re mindful of your time and strive to keep it as simple as possible.
- Offer!
BENEFITS:
We go beyond the basics with our benefits package. Here’s what you can expect from us:
- Salary range of $50,000 - $55,000
- 401k
- Healthcare, Vision, and Dental
- All the equipment needed for you to do your role effectively
