We’re Scan.com, the digital health scale-up making diagnostics accessible, fast, and transparent. Our technology speeds up diagnoses for timely treatments, improving healthcare outcomes for hundreds of patients each day.

We're doing diagnostics differently, with solutions tailored to both patients and providers, all backed by our technology and world-class customer operations team. Our B2C marketplace simplifies booking a scan, making it as straightforward for patients as booking a hotel. Our B2B platforms provide live scheduling at the point of care and harness AI to ease workflows for physicians, attorneys, and providers.

We're looking for a National Program Manager - Workers' Compensation at an exciting time - we've successfully launched multiple platforms and products, raised over $70m in VC funding, reached profitability, and have a growth trajectory of over 100% YoY.

WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING INVOLVED IN:

As our National Program Manager for Workers Compensation, you'll be instrumental in supporting and scaling our Workers Compensation division. This role sits at the intersection of operations, product, and network development, reporting directly to senior leadership. You'll be the operational backbone of our WC program, driving excellence across workflows, team performance, and client delivery.

As a scale-up business, you can expect your role to develop over time. Here are some of the types of things you could be getting involved in:

  • Design, implement, and optimize operational workflows for the Workers' Compensation division

  • Support and manage operational teams, including training and performance management

  • Develop and track KPIs to measure operational excellence and program performance

  • Build efficient processes and systems to support the scalable growth of the WC program

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Network Operations, and Growth teams to ensure seamless execution

  • Assess and support network strategy as it ties into operational utilization and state-specific requirements

  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to drive operational efficiency

  • Manage relationships with suppliers, providers, and key stakeholders in the WC ecosystem

  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and Workers' Compensation requirements

  • Create and maintain operational documentation, playbooks, and training materials

THE TOP 5 THINGS WE WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR ARE

  1. Build the foundation: Successfully stand up core operational workflows and processes that support our Phase 1 Workers Compensation launch, enabling the team to accept and process WC referrals efficiently and accurately

  2. Scale the team: Support onboarding, and develop a high-performing operational team capable of delivering exceptional service to WC clients and providers

  3. Drive measurable performance: Partner with leadership to ensure targeted KPIs and operational metrics are being met while demonstrating consistent improvement in efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction across the WC program

  4. Enable cross-functional success: Build strong partnerships with Sales, Product, and Network teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and aligned execution on WC initiatives

  5. Embody our values: Bring a mindset of continuous improvement, ownership, and customer-centricity that sets the tone for the WC division and inspires the broader team

WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE:

You don't need to tick all the boxes to apply for this role. Whether it's your first role or your fifth role, we believe everyone can add value, learn, and grow. However, these might be some of the ways you are currently adding value:

  • Experience building and scaling operational programs, workflows, or teams in healthcare, workers' compensation, insurance, or adjacent industries

  • Strong program management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives from concept to execution

  • Deep understanding of operational excellence principles, including process optimization, performance management, and continuous improvement

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization

  • Data-driven mindset with experience in establishing and tracking operational metrics and KPIs

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Experience with Workers Compensation processes, state regulations, or healthcare operations (preferred but not required)

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex operational concepts into clear documentation and training materials

  • Bias toward action and ownership, with a hands-on approach to getting things done

  • Passion for improving healthcare access and outcomes for patients

HOW WE WILL INTERVIEW YOU:

We keep our interview process short and sweet, and we're a nimble team that can progress at pace. Here are the stages you can expect, but we might switch up the order of each step depending on team availability:

  1. Introductory call/interview with Devin, our Senior Talent Partner. The call will be by telephone and will last about 30 minutes.

  2. Should it feel like there is an initial fit for all, we will invite you to a 45-minute video call with the hiring manager. This is a more structured interview that will deep-dive into the role and technical needs.

  3. All of our roles will have a small assessment stage. This might be in person, a take-home assessment, or further video calls. Length varies, but we're mindful of your time and try to keep it as simple as possible.

  4. Meet the founders and/or other team members. Again, length varies depending on how many people are involved and whether it's in person or via video call.

  5. Offer!
